Manndalen Sjøbuer comprises eight high standard fishermen’s cottages located on the shores of the picturesque Lyngenfjord in North Troms in Northern Norway.

Manndalen is a pleasant village in the municipality of Kåfjord with a population of approx. 900. Manndalen is approx. 160 km from Tromsø. The journey here by bus takes approx. Two hours. We can arrange transfers for our guests to/from Tromsø Airport.

Manndalen is a pleasant village in the municipality of Kåfjord with a population of approx. 900. Manndalen is approx. 160 km from Tromsø. The journey here by bus takes approx. Two hours. We can arrange transfers for our guests to/from Tromsø Airport.

Seaside cottages
Each cottage is approx. 35 m² and can accommodate four people.
The well-appointed cottages feature a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator and stove, lounge with TV, one bedroom, a sleeping loft and private bathroom with shower and sauna. All cottages have Wi-Fi access. A communal barbecue area is situated between cottage 4 and 5. As a guest, self-catering is possible. The interior of the cottages differs slightly, including the design and size of the sauna, bathroom, bedroom and lounge, so that each cottage retains its own distinctive style. We provide made-up beds and towels for our guests for an additional fee of NOK 95 per person.

Boats
Manndalen Sjøbuer has eight fishing boats available for rental. All are 17.5-foot Silver Viking boats with 40 hp Yamaha outboard motors and fixed echo sounders. The boats are moored at the floating jetty right outside the seaside cottages. Fish-cleaning facilities are provided, and flotation vests and access to the freezer room is included in the rental agreement.

Fjord fishing
Our location in the sheltered Kåfjord, which is an arm of the Lyngenfjord, offers our guests protection from the extreme conditions further out in the fjord. The means that our guests have greater opportunity to get out on the fjord and see if the fish are biting. Please contact us for more information about fishing
